What is TetherWeaver?
TetherWeaver is a resonance between the measurable world. It’s a manifestation of the network ether, or spirit, that connects all of creation. We’re talking about it when we say: we are more than the sum of our parts. Through art, TetherWeaver pluck’s the threads, amplifying the more by drawing the immeasurable out into the observable. Like any weave, the more anchors, the more threads, the more resilient. The more colors, the more beautiful. Our threads lead here, all of us anchors in the network.
BJ Christopher
He’s a high school teacher and swim coach in Western North Carolina who was an Augustinian postulant, turned Astrochemist PhD, turned startup entrepreneur and innovator.
He writes mostly for lesson plans, guiding teenagers through the story of Science, from nature’s creation of the first atoms to mankind’s creation of modern spectroscopy techniques for seeing molecules. Often he’s summing up young people’s impact in 5 minute introductions. Before that, it was grant proposals and pitching the value of new digital chemical analysis tech. He was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and an expert reviewer for innovation grants. But, the beginnings were simple poems still in shoeboxes with the rest of his childhood trinkets. Usually a man of numbers, his only college composition was: Star Trek’s Federation Charter and The Real World Allegory.
What’s the common thread? The mysteries of the universe: the scientific, the spiritual, and the relational. He is a hope punk, for sure.
